WHO THIS IS FOR

Designed for leaders responsible for operational and financial performance.

Organisations with a growing Anaplan footprint

More models, more users, more requests, and no agreed structure for handling them.

Teams with roles they can't fill

Model builders and architects are scarce, and a hiring cycle is longer than the backlog can wait.

Businesses coming off an implementation

The partner is leaving, the model is live, and ownership has to land somewhere.

THE CURRENT CHALLENGE

The gap after go-live

An implementation ends, and ownership has to go somewhere. Usually it lands on whoever was most involved, alongside their actual job. The model keeps working. It just stops improving, because nobody has the time or the mandate to change it.

HOW WE DO IT

Built to work ourselves out of the job.

THE OPERATING MODEL

What your CoE owns, and what it doesn't.

Intake, prioritisation, change control, release process, and where the line sits between business ownership and IT. These are the decisions that determine whether a CoE improves the platform or just processes tickets, and they're worth settling before anyone is hired.

THE PEOPLE, AND THEN NOT

We fill the roles you need now, and work ourselves out of them.

Model builders and architects are hard to hire and slower to develop. We provide them while your team builds capability alongside, with a defined handover rather than an open-ended arrangement.

A small internal team that keeps the platform running and moving forward. They handle model changes, new requests, standards, user support, and the roadmap. Despite the name, a CoE doesn’t need to be a large team. For many organisations, it’s just two to five people, sometimes part-time, with clear ownership of what gets built and what comes next.

Smaller than most people expect. A single well-supported model builder with a clear intake process handles more than three people without one. Size follows from footprint and change volume, and we'd rather size it after seeing both than quote a number upfront.

The CoE usually sits with finance or the business team that owns the planning process, while IT supports areas like integrations, security, and data. Since Anaplan is designed for business users to manage, keeping ownership close to the teams using it day to day can make changes and decisions easier to manage.

Yes, and it's a common starting point. Our consultants fill the roles while your team develops alongside them, with a handover point agreed at the outset rather than left open. The intent is that you stop needing us.

Typically six to twelve months for core capability, depending on the starting point and how much time your people can commit. Full independence on complex architecture takes longer, and some organisations deliberately keep a partner for that while running everything else internally.

A support contract keeps the model running. A CoE means your business can change it. Support is a reasonable place to start, but it's worth knowing which one you're buying, because they lead to different places three years out.

The problem is often the setup, not the team. Unclear priorities, no clear process for new requests, or CoE responsibilities added on top of day jobs can quickly slow things down. Before adding more people, it’s worth understanding what’s getting in the way.

Our team: every consultant is an EliteEPM employee. We don’t subcontract delivery, so you know who you’re working with throughout the engagement.

WHY ELITE EPM

We don’t do bait-and-switch consulting

Continuity is the difference between a model that survives its first planning cycle and one that doesn't. We stay focused on Anaplan, build our own specialist team, and keep senior people close to the model from the first workshop through hypercare.

All in on one platform

Anaplan is our entire business, so the platform's roadmap is our roadmap. Our team is fully certified and building on Polaris today - and they understand how businesses plan, not just how to build in the tool

Seniority where it counts

Our partners stay hands-on after the contract is signed. They shape the design, challenge decisions that won't hold up, work the difficult problems, and carry accountability through go-live.

Built for direct collaboration

You get the experience needed for complex, multi-entity work without layers of account management or subcontracted delivery teams.

Make more of the Anaplan platform you already have

Whether you're establishing a Center of Excellence for the first time or strengthening an existing one, EliteEPM can help you build the governance and capability needed to keep Anaplan moving forward.
